Funeral services for Bennie Herman Lee Marshall, who passed June 12, 2010 at the Olin E Teague Veterans Hospital in Temple, TX, will be held on Saturday; June 19, 2010 at the Mount Rose Baptist Church in Brenham, TX at 1:00 p.m.
Bennie Lee, a long time resident of Brenham, was a graduate of Pickard High School and a member of the Hornets foot ball team that won a district championship in 1951. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, grandparents, brother and one niece.
Mr. Marshall leaves to cherish his memories: a devoted sister in law; Viola Nunn, a devoted friend and love one; Vera Simpson, four nephews; Dewayne Floyd Marshall Craig Lawrence Nunn, Christopher Lane Herring and Emma Jean Dever and a host of other relatives and friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to HOGAN FUNERAL HOME, 1002 West Alamo Street, Brenham, TX (979) 836-2571. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 18, 2010, between the hours of 01:00 and 6:00 p.m.
