Funeral services for Mrs. Delores Fields Evans, who passed August 30, 2012, will be held on Saturday; September 8, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mt Rose Missionary Baptist Church in Brenham, TX .
Mrs. Evans was a loyal member of Main Street Baptist Church until she relocated to Freeport, TX where she and her husband; Ira Evans operated two successful businesses. Upon returning to Brenham, TX., Mrs. Evans joined Mt. Rose Baptist Church where she served as a deaconess, a member of the Mission Auxiliary and the choir.
Mrs. Evans, is survived by her husband; Ira Evans, four children; Ira Evans, Jr., William G. Evans, Betty L. Evans, and Joydella Evans, five grand children, five great-grand children, one sister; Joydel Fields Haskins, One brother; Wilbert Fields, and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to HOGAN FUNERAL HOME, 1002 West Alamo Street, in Brenham, TX (979) 836-2571 where visitation will be held from 06:30 to 8:00 p.m. on 08/07/12 to 07:00 p.m. on August 5, 2011. There will be visitation at the church on Saturday from 09:30 to 11:00 a.m.
