Funeral services for Ms. Vernita Johnson Evans, who was born October 12, 1930 to Edward and Biddie Lockett Johnson, will be held on Saturday; October 27, 2012, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 01:00 p.m.
Ms. Evans passed on October 25, 2012 after a brief illness. She is survived by one son; Darrell Wayne Gaines of Waco, TX, two sisters; Eddie Mae Hampton and Jewelene Washington, a special nephew; Karl Johnson of Brenham, TX, six grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services have been entrusted to the professional care of HOGAN FUNERAL HOME at 1002 West Alamo Street, Brenham, TX 77833; (979) 836-2571 where visitation will be held on October 26, 2012 from 04:00 to 07:00 p.m. There will be viewing at the Kingdom Hall on Saturday from 12:00 to 01:00 p.m.
